Thanks to you, our Giving Tuesday campaign was a great success. If you want to help to support the Leica Society and the Photography Fund in other ways, you can take advantage of the LHSA Oberwerth bag or simply make a donation!

The holidays are all about community, and we’re proud of the one we’ve built with you. Together we discover Leica’s rich history, learn more photography skills, and discuss details about gear. Leica Society members know that the Leica journey is most meaningful when the experiences are shared with friends who understand that similar to Leica camera themselves, the community is more than the sum of its parts.

We also understand the importance of giving back. Our LHSA Philanthropy Fund was established to provide financial support and exposure for the next generation of photographers. With your help, last year we surpassed our fundraising goal by 10% and was able to award $5,000 to our first-ever grant recipient Ksenia Kuleshova.

Now is your opportunity to help another deserving photographer complete their vision in 2018 by simply renewing your membership early or becoming a member on #GivingTuesday.

Our goal with this initiative is to support another deserving photographer next year. The LHSA Philanthropy Fund’s cash award of up to $5,000 will help a student or beginning professional photographer complete their respective project and provide opportunities for their work to be seen by a large audience. The recipient will also have the opportunity to be featured in an exhibition at a Leica Store in North America, have their project published in Viewfinder, and more.
