I can’t say that I have ever really considered a CL. I shot one that a friend of mine let me use for a week, I loved it. The size, weight, and convenience was awesome. And I shot primary in manual mode which was a breeze. Nice camera, but I was a bit concerned about the crop format. What changed my mind and made me want to enter the sweepstakes and own a CL? The presentation Peter Karbe gave in Wetzlar about the optics for this system and the SL system. The passion in his voice when he started talking about the “real Barnack camera of present day,” was pretty telling. This is a great little camera.
