Leica SL Firmware 3.6 Update

Leica Camera introduces a new firmware update for the Leica SL. Firmware version 3.6 addresses the following:

  • Improvement on compatibility with existing and upcoming lenses from L-Mount Alliance
  • Partners
  • Improvement on compatibility with L-Mount lenses that are equipped with an AF/MF
  • selection switch on the lens
  • Improvement on compatibility with L-Mount lenses that are equipped with an OIS mode
  • switch on the lens
  • Reduces the noise from aperture drive while zooming for the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90
  • f/2.8-4 ASPH. lens
  • Reduces the noise from aperture drive while zooming for the Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL
  • 90-280 f/2.8-4 lens
  • The firmware update file and PDF instructions will be available for download on the Leica
  • Camera website beginning Thursday 8/15/19.
