At our 2019 Annual Meeting in Boston, MA, we had the great privilege to sit down with Dr. Andreas Kaufmann, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG. He shared his perspective on all things Leica Camera and innovation, including Leica’s technology flagship: The new Leica SL2.

The Leica SL2 is the next milestone and icon in the company’s long history of premium cameras, building on the platform that was established with the Leica SL when the trailblazing system was introduced in 2015. The Leica SL2 elevates the full-frame mirrorless segment to new heights with improved performance, refined ergonomics, and streamlined controls.

Watch our interview to discover what inspires Dr. Kaufmann, where he thinks the camera industry is going, and what other products are in the pipeline and what he’d like to create, including a left-handed camera!

We’re humbled and proud that he describes LHSA – The International Leica Society as part of the Leica family, and invite you to join us: https://lhsa.org/join.
