Food Photography with Leica – Washington D.C. – April 30, 2017

Join celebrated DC-based food photographer, Scott Suchman for this full day Food Photography workshop using a variety of Leica cameras.

Participants will learn how to properly work with Leica close up gear, adapters, and the full range of lenses- wide angle to telephoto. You will discover techniques using natural light and styling tricks to create mouth-watering still life images of raw and prepared food.

This workshop is open to photographers of all skill sets.  Loaner cameras will be available.

Topics Covered:

– Typical assignment scenario demonstrations

– Food Styling

– Lighting techniques using flags and reflectors

– Suggested equipment

– Post processing techniques using Adobe Camera RAW

Food, props, and photographic equipment will be available for use during the workshop.

Attendance is strictly limited to 10 participants.

Cost:  $229 and includes lunch.

About the Photographer:

Photographer, Scott Suchman has spent his entire professional career working in Washington, DC. From an early start as a wire service stringer, he is now recognized as one of the region’s top food and restaurant shooters. He is a contributing photographer for Washingtonian Magazine and shoots assignments regularly for The Washington Post Magazine, Baltimore Magazine, Southern Living, as well as other regional and national publications.”
